It was too funny to meet some of their friends from Atlanta who had never been to Texas. Boy did they ever embrace the Texan stereotypes! I'm talking cowboy boots and hats, and one of them even had a sheriff's badge. I have to confess that I've only had one pair of cowboy boots. They were red and I was seven.
At the reception I had the chance to catch up with my other favorite Emily. I love that with true friends it doesn't matter how long it has been since you last talked, you can always pick up right where you left off.
A couple of weekends after the wedding, Eric and I headed to San Angelo for homecoming. We stayed with Wes, Stacey, and the future Baby Jordan. Sarah C. also came in for the weekend. Once again, yay for good friends. . . AND good food! :) Boo for no pictures. Sorry. I think I'm going to have to wrap this up for now, especially since I have to wake up in a little over 5 hours in order to get ready for school. Pray for me tomorrow. It will be Halloween and I'm afraid the kids are going to be CRAZY!
