Music has always had a special place in my heart and can really do a lot to help (or hurt) my mood. Eric doesn't understand how a song can be so moving that it brings tears to my eyes, but that's just how I am. Playing for Change is an organization that understands the power of music and the impact it can have. I stumbled upon this video this evening and fell in love. Playing for Change is a multimedia movement created to inspire, connect, and bring peace to the world through music. The idea for this project arose from a common belief that music has the power to break down boundaries and overcome distances between people. No matter whether people come from different geographic, political, economic, spiritual or ideological backgrounds, music has the universal power to transcend and unite us as one human race. And with this truth firmly fixed in our minds, we set out to share it with the world.
Wow this is neat!! I totally agree with you about the power of music! Most people don't realize that when they feel an emotional response during a film or show, it is usually because of the music. Playing for Change is an awesome idea!! Thanks for posting this!
