- Thank you for sharing your opinions on the bedding sets. Hopefully Eric and I will make a definitive decision soon!
- A couple of you asked where I found the different bedding options...Most of the ones I posted can be found at multiple sites--babysupermall.com, Babies "R" Us, Pottery Barn Kids, and Target.
- I've decided that I'll probably never get around to a DC post. If you really want to see pictures of what we did, look at Eric's blog here, here, and here.
- Today is class picture day. I decided to wear the outfit that makes me the look the most pregnant. I don't want to look like I'm just chubby! :)
- Eric has his follow-up appointment this afternoon. We'll find out how his femur is healing and if he'll finally be able to put some weight on his right leg.
- Eric and I are going to start a baby regsitry soon and need advice from moms with experience. What are the products that you couldn't have done without? What was a waste of money? What did you wish you had? ALL advice will be greatly appreciated!

Registries are fun!
ReplyDeleteI couldn't live without my boppy. It is by far one of my favorite things we have ever received. It helps with nursing, holding the baby, sitting up (when they are older), and its great to take a nap on! Haha! I swear there is something about curling up with the boppy on the couch that would just put me to sleep. It supports your head and gives you something to hug.
I also love my pump, but those are kind of expensive, so we purchased ours with leftover money and giftcards. (although I would still recommend registering for it if you want it because some people go in together on larger gifts.) Medela is the best and you will definitely want an electric pump.
As far as diapers go, when they are young its worth spending the money on the good quality ones that don't leak. My favorites are pampers and huggies. (In that order.) Every baby is different though, so you will just have to find what works best for you. Those are all my tips for now. :)
Ditto what Janet said. Totally agree on the boppy, the pump brand, and the diapers!
ReplyDeleteWe loved our Bumbo seat with Kailey, and also one of those reclining/bouncy/vibrating seats for when they are little. Kailey loved that thing!
Love Johnson and Johnson bedtime bath (lavender colored bottle)and lotion. Also for when they are newborns, the disposable washcloths that already have the soap in them are great too.
Do not waste your money on a baby wipes warmer. I never used ours and sold it in your garage sale in September.
I love that you are dressing to look pregnant in your class photo!
ReplyDeleteI am zero help in baby registry, but check out this article about things you don't need for a baby on Oh Dee Doh.

Glad you asked about suggestions on baby items for your registry b/c commercials would lead you to believe you need one of everything!
ReplyDelete1. I absolutely love the boppy (get one that has straps that you can use when baby can be propped up).
2. I would find a couple of pacifiers (not too many b/c some babies are picky)- mine only take the Soothie brand ($3-4 for 2). I agree about the pampers swaddlers when they're infants b/c they're just awesome.
3. vibrating chair & or swing--they are lifesavers!!
4. bumbo- around 6 mos+
5. tummy time mat/jungle gym
6. oh yeah, 1 more thing...a rack to dry your bottles
That's all I can think of now.- Come over sometime & watch
